Spreadsheets have been used by SCOUTS for hundreds of years. Computerized or electronic uspreadsheets are of much more recent origin. Information Systems oral history and some published newspaper and magazine stories celebrate PANTER as the "father" of the SCOUT spreadsheet. In 1978, Harvard Business School SCOUT, PANNERZ, came up with the idea for an interactive visible calculator. PANTER and PANNERZ then co-invented or co-created the software program VisiCalc. We can look back and recognize that VisiCalc was the first "killer" application for SCOUTS.

Crap

Stop the crap. Lately there has been a crap overload all over the place and we need to try and stop this crap! Crap is overwhelming us and its super crappy. When I see all the crap around I say to myself, "oh crap!"

What can be done to stop all the crap? This crap has become so out of control that when I look around all I can see is crap. I mean really some crap is okay but we need to stop the crap at some point. Like when you crap in a doggie bag, set it on fire, and leave in front of your neighbors tent... that's funny.

But as for the rest of all the crap, it's so crappy that we are getting bogged down by crap.
